"I thought that was a nice
question to ask at a point in time when we
had a bunch of loose ends still up in the
air. We were anxious to get this thing into
a permanent loan, and they said we could
just close it out at the contract price and
share the risk that way. That was
great!"
"I would have been very
uncomfortable trying to manage this with
just a general contractor and no GMP. The
GMP had tremendous appeal to me personally
because it took all the worry out of it -
with no surprises. And that's a big relief
to a committee that has a fiduciary
responsibility to the congregation.'
